Since a year or so though, Ive been experiencing issues with the SetPoint drivers and not supporting the newest media players out there such as MusicBee or even Google Play Music in Chrome. Ive only tried other brands shortly, but always came back to the trustworthy devices of Logitech. The solution is fairly simple if a little long winded: Since long time, Ive been a fan of Logitech peripherals. Logitech unified reciver, mouse versions m215,m310, ex110 and latest ( new ) m325. I have Logitech HID compliant unifying mouse and HID compliant mouse. The only difference is the names in device manager are different.

On three other pcs running win10 pro on legacy bios this is not an issue. The original answer was in 2013 and I honestly didn’t think it would work anymore after different versions and updates, etc. The SetPoint software provided by Logitech swallows all media-key-presses by default, and only pass them on to "verified" programs. I now have setpoint running fine, but the logitech software no longer intercepts the media keys and lets them work as normal. Maybe I didn't look through enough threads, but I couldn't find anything nonetheless and I thought I'd make a thread specifically addressing this.

I found this on another board after much hunting. After searching on here and finding the only answer was to uninstall SetPoint, I've figured out how to make the Logitech three button mouse's wheel work with SetPoint installed. This way you can have the other function keys set-up as you want, use the Logitech on screen display and have the media keys working as normal. Before posting anything, make sure you check out all sticky threads (e.g., this). Do not create another thread if there is an existing one already. There is a way to have setpoint running but to remove Media Keys from it and let Windows handle them as normal. You may not create multiple accounts for any purpose, including ban evasion, unless expressly permitted by a moderator. Sorry to revive an old thread, but just incase anyone gets notifications and still needs a fix.
